MARAM makes family violence everybody’s business!
Collaborative Practice training is a core element of aligning to the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework. The Central Highlands Integrated Family Violence Committee (CHIFVC) offers free MARAM Collaborative Practice training sessions to services in the LGAs of Ararat, Ballarat, Golden Plains, Hepburn, Pyrenees and Moorabool.
All prescribed workforces must complete this training as part of organisational MARAM Alignment. What is this training about?
MARAM Collaborative Practice training focuses on collaborative practice and the foundational aspects of the MARAM Framework that enable collaboration. It explores how to contribute to risk assessment and collaborate for ongoing risk management, through respectful and sensitive engagement with victim survivors, information sharing, referral and secondary consultation.
The training is held ONLINE using Zoom and is split into two parts, which participants must complete in order (Part 1 first, Part 2 second) within the same month. To ensure the training is accessible, we run a morning and/or afternoon session for each part each week, (accessible via Eventbrite).
